Two women are named and asked to agree. Then anxiety, then thanksgiving, then a promise of peace that guards the mind.
The famous line about contentment is often quoted as a temperament. Paul says he learned it — in plenty and in hunger, in abundance and in need.
That single word changes it from a personality you either have or lack into something acquired, slowly, in both directions of circumstance. Which means it is available to you, and that it takes time.
