Philippians 3: The Ledger He Tore Up
Scripture
Philippians 3
Paul lists his credentials: lineage, training, zeal, blamelessness under the law. It is a serious list, and he was entitled to it.
Then he writes it all off — not as bad, but as loss, for the sake of knowing Christ.
Notice what he does not say. He does not say his achievements were worthless. He says they were assets he chose to put on the other side of the ledger.
Whatever you are quietly relying on to be acceptable is probably real. The question is which column it is in.
