Psalm 63: Thirst in a Dry Land
今日经文
Psalm 63
The heading places this in the wilderness. The writer describes his longing as thirst in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Then, in that setting, he says he remembers God on his bed and meditates through the watches of the night.
The desert is not resolved by the end of the psalm. What changes is what he does at three in the morning.
A dry season is not evidence that you have lost something. It is where thirst becomes accurate.
