雅各叫人直接求智慧，并且应许神会赐给——而且是「不斥责人」地赐给，也就是说：不会因为你开口问而让你觉得自己很蠢。
接着是让这一章有锋芒的那个比喻：一个人对着镜子看自己，看过走开，立刻就忘了自己的相貌如何。
「只听不行」就是这个样子。不是「不同意」——是「忘了」。
信息收到了，然后到中午就没有产生任何差别。
它给的对策不是「再多听一点」，而是：今天去做一件。
