1 John 3: Love in Deed
Scripture
1 John 3
See what kind of love the Father has given, that we should be called children of God. And so we are — a small clause that settles the question of standing before anything is asked of us.
Later comes the test: if anyone has the world goods and sees a brother in need and closes his heart, how does the love of God abide in him?
Love here is not a feeling but a transfer. The chapter says plainly: let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
