How Do I Become a Christian
I think I believe this, but I do not know what to actually do. Is there a form to fill in, a ceremony, a prayer I have to say correctly?

There is no form, no ceremony, and no prayer you have to say word for word. The New Testament puts it plainly: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Notice the two halves. First, believing in your heart — not having understood every doctrine, but putting your weight on it: who he is, and what he did for you. Second, saying it out loud. To God, and to at least one other person. Faith in Scripture is never a purely private matter. So the practical answer is four things. One, talk to God. Use your own words; they do not need to be elegant. Something like: I admit I need you; I believe Jesus is Lord, that he died for me and rose; from today I want to follow you. Two, find a church. This step is skipped most often and matters most — faith is very hard to sustain alone. Three, start reading the Bible. Begin with Mark; it takes two or three sittings. Four, tell someone, even one person. One thing must be said clearly: you are not saved by getting the wording right. If the exact phrasing of a prayer decided a person eternity, salvation would be a language exam. It rests on the one you trust, not on how well you speak.
