Mark 10: What Do You Want Me to Do for You

今日经文

Mark 10

Jesus asks the same question twice in this chapter. First to James and John, who want the best seats. Then to blind Bartimaeus, sitting by the road.

Identical words, two very different answers. The disciples ask for status. The beggar asks to see.

Between the two requests Jesus says that whoever wants to be great must be a servant, and that he came not to be served but to give his life.

The question is worth sitting with today, because it is genuinely open. If he asked you now, what would you actually say — and would you be comfortable saying it out loud?
