Some believers live an hour from the nearest congregation. Others live surrounded by churches, none of which they can understand. Being unable to worship in the language you dream in is a particular kind of loneliness, and pretending otherwise does not help.
Gather locally even if imperfectly
If there is a faithful church nearby in another language, consider going anyway. You will miss much of the sermon at first. You will not miss being present with God's people, being prayed for, or being noticed when you are absent. Many believers find that the language comes with time, and the belonging comes sooner than the language.
Feed yourself in your own language
Read Scripture in your mother tongue daily. Truth lands differently in the language your heart uses. Trusted recorded sermons and reading plans in your language can carry a great deal of weight in a season like this.
Find two or three others
A living-room gathering of three believers who read the Bible, pray, and know one another is not a lesser thing. Much of the New Testament was written to churches that met in houses.
Use online worship as a bridge, not a destination
Online services are a real help when distance or health prevents gathering. But a screen cannot baptise you, share the Lord's Supper with you, or visit you in hospital. Treat it as a bridge toward gathered life, not a replacement for it.
Ask, and keep asking
Tell other believers what you are looking for. Congregations in your language often exist quietly, meeting in borrowed rooms, unknown to search engines but well known to the people already there.
